Shelby Angel Joins Taber Estes Thorne & Carr

DALLAS - The Dallas-based law firm of Taber Estes Thorne & Carr PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of Shelby Angel as an Associate in commercial/business litigation and appellate law. Prior to joining the firm, Shelby was a Senior Associate in the commercial litigation section at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in Dallas. Shelby is also the founder and owner of a small Dallas-based business.
Shelby's practice is primarily devoted to commercial litigation and business dispute resolution. Shelby has a diverse trial practice that focuses on complex commercial and business disputes. She represents companies and individuals in the prosecution and defense of a broad range of litigation involving contracts, negligence, fraud and misrepresentation, partnership, shareholder and fiduciary relations, agency relations, deceptive trade practices, fraudulent transfers, trade secrets, trademark, and copyright, insurance coverage disputes, and other business torts. Shelby has counseled companies and individuals in all stages, from pre-suit analyses and informal settlement negotiations through alternative dispute resolution, trial and appeals.
Shelby graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University. She also played NCAA Division II Basketball at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
