Practice Emphasis
Michele practices labor and employment law. She assists clients in all aspects of employment litigation and counseling. Her experience includes Title VII, 42 USC ยง 1981, the FMLA, the ADEA, the ADA, the FLSA, the WARN Act, employment contracts, trade secrets, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, wrongful discharge, unfair competition, state and federal human rights, and wage payment and collections laws. She represents employers in defense of federal and state employment-related claims before both state and federal courts, the EEOC, and state and local agencies. Michele also counsels clients on various day-to-day employment issues, personnel policies, employee handbooks, compensation issues, disciplinary matters, terminations and severance agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Michele was an associate at Gardere Wynne Sewell in Dallas.
