Shelby has a diverse trial practice that focuses on complex commercial and business disputes. She represents companies and individuals in the prosecution and defense of a broad range of litigation involving contracts, negligence, fraud and misrepresentation, partnership, shareholder and fiduciary relations, agency relations, deceptive trade practices, fraudulent transfers, trade secrets, trademark, and copyright, insurance coverage disputes, and other business torts.

Shelby has counseled companies and individuals in all stages, from pre-suit analyses and informal settlement negotiations through, alternative dispute resolution, trial and appeals. She has obtained summary judgment disposition on behalf of many clients, has tried a number of cases to verdict, and has also represented parties in federal and state appeals.
